WORLDCHOICE
has axed three senior staff in a move to cut costs. News of the redundancies
came as chairman Colin Heal pledged to help members through the current crisis
after being elected to the board.
Those
to lose their jobs are special projects manager Ginnie Marsh, who had been with
Worldchoice for more than 15 years, and business development managers Andrew
Fox and Kevin Thomasson.
General
manager Chris Fife said: “The redundancies are due to the economic downturn.”
Heal replaces managing director Julian Foster, who
resigned over the controversial shareholder scheme in September. He scooped
74.85% of the vote over rival Bryan Somers, Northern Ireland chairman.
