JURYS Doyle Hotel Group has reported a 12% fall in
half year pre-tax profits to £16.8 million following September 11 and a
slowdown in the economy.
However turnover was up 6% to £80.7 million.
In March, the hotel group
bought two hotels in Birmingham and has started work on a 274-room property in
Newcastle.
