VIRGIN Atlantic is investing £25 million with major shareholder
Singapore Airlines to expand routes, Virgin Holidays, website Virgin Travelstore
and airport facilities.
The cash boost will also create 300 Virgin jobs during 2002.
Sir Richard Branson’s carrier will also use the money to
develop new products to improve service.
The investment comes as the carrier prepares to be the launch
customer for the long-range Airbus A340-600 this summer.
