TECHNOLOGY company Anite has commissioned the Genesys travel
technology consultancy to compile an on-line survey about customer relationship
management.
Anite hopes the research will be the largest ever study of
CRM in the global travel industry.
The aim is to find out how well the industry is adopting CRM
practices and whether there are differences in geography and among the
differing sectors.
Genesys senior partner Paul Richer said the results could
show whether tour operators are investing more in CRM than agents and if the US
is ahead of the UK in adopting CRM.
The survey, which will be completed sometime next month, can
be found by going to www.genesys.net/survey
and anyone that takes part will receive a copy of the final research and the
chance to win a palm-pilot computer.
