first choice losses up but bookings robust

FIRST Choice has revealed pre tax losses for the six months
ending April 30 of £45.7 million.

The figure is an increase compared to the same period last
year when the operator revealed a loss of £39.7 million.

Chief executive Peter Long described booking levels as
robust and said there are fewer breaks to sell than last year. He added the
company will continue with its strategy of acquiring specialist holiday
companies.
