First
Choice has 11% less bookings than last year but says this is due to reductions
in capacity post-September 11 2001.
Winter
bookings are 3% behind last winter, but summer 2003 bookings are 2% ahead of
this year.
The
operator said margins are in line with expectations, with summer’s
“significantly” ahead of summer 2002 and 2001.
The
statement, issued before the listed company goes into its close period on
November 1, also revealed bookings across the group are 36% up since September
11.
