Waller to quit Walt Disney Travel Company

WALT Disney Travel Company UK director
Andrew Waller is quitting the industry to work for a motorsports marketing
organisation.

Waller
was due to leave as his role at Walt Disney was being made redundant in the New
Year following the company’s switch from air-inclusive packages to selling
accommodation and ticket-only.

The
Walt Disney Travel Company will now report to Walt Disney Parks and Resorts
vice-president marketing and sales Jo Rzymowska under the charge of Jane Doyle,
head of Walt Disney Travel Company operations.

Waller will finish at the company this Friday,
November 8. His new job, as from December 2, is director of sales and marketing
at Octagon Motorsports. This is part of Octagon Worldwide, the sports marketing
arm of the Interpublic Group, and is based at Brands Hatch.
