SIX
senior staff have left Thomas Cook while two directors are being recruited
externally as part of a management review under new chief executive Manny
Fontenla-Novoa.
The
six departures include managing director distribution businesses Andrew Windsor
and commercial director Mike Beaumont. The others have yet to be named but are
less well known in the industry.
Fontenla-Novoa
said: “We’re bringing in two people externally and looking outside the
industry.”
First
Resort MD Nigel David, ex-TUI UK sales and marketing director, is one of the
two new appointments. David will join later this year as product director. He
will sit on the executive board.
