Philippines rocked by airport bomb

AT LEAST 18 people have been killed and 100 injured after a terrorist
bomb ripped through a group of passengers at a Philippine airport.

The blast at Davao on Mindanao island hit people outside the
terminal and caused considerable damage to property.

Officials said the bomb was hidden in a rucksack and was
aimed at local people as well as foreigners, including Americans.
