Holiday
Autos is to put into action its plans to bring a new range of leisure products
to the trade, following the ratification of its £39.7million sale to
Lastminute.com.
Shareholders
of Lastminute.com approved the deal last week, clearing the way for Holiday
Autos to introduce Lastminute.com products to agents as fully-commissionable
goods.
Holiday Autos chairman Clive Jacobs, who will make
around £20 million from the deal, has stressed there will be no job losses as a
result of the takeover.
