Thomas Cook appoints sales heads

By Juliet Dennis

THOMAS Cook has appointed three heads of sales
following its recent restructure.

Karen Lightfoot, Tracey Goldthorpe and Michelle Bonney
have all been promoted from within Thomas Cook to take on the roles.

Lightfoot will be in charge of the north of England
and Scotland, Goldthorpe will take on central England, Wales and Ireland, while
Bonney will have responsibility for the south.

They will also be in charge of regional sales managers
and work closely with the shops to achieve a better focus on customer service
and sales.

The previous three sales directors, Mark Byard, Adrian
Sneyd and Kingsley Taylor, are still in discussions with the company about
their future after their roles were made redundant.
