Ryanair profits leap 59%

RYANAIR
reported a full-year 59% rise in profits to £174.5 million on the back of 15.7
million passengers carried during the 12 months.

However,
chief executive Michael O’Leary warned load factors would decrease to around
80% and yields by 15% next year due to its rapid expansion and give-away
promotions.

The
carrier has opened 20 new routes during the past year and established new bases
at Milan-Bergamo and Stockholm Skavsta.
