TWO bombs have rocked the popular Spanish resorts of
Benidorm and Alicante, injuring at least eight people.
Basque terrorist group ETA exploded devices within
minutes of each other at the Hotel Residencia Bahia in Alicante city centre and
the Hotel Nadal in Benidorm.
Both hotels were evacuated after the separatist group
gave warning, but four police officers and four civilians were still injured in
the blast.
ETA has a history of targeting the Spanish tourism
industry and has warned of more attacks in the future.
