MYTRAVEL boss Dave Harris has left to join timeshare
company Sunterra.
This follows news UK human resources director Paul
Lomas is to leave soon and the recent departure of Ken McPherson, who worked
with Harris to turn around MyTravel’s business and was formerly Holiday-line
call-centre managing director.
Harris, now MD of Sunterra Europe Group Holdings, a
subsidiary of Sunterra Corporation, joined MyTravel as Going Places MD in 2000
before heading up all of distribution. Last October he became director of the
UK’s ‘turnaround programme’.
In December MyTravel UK and Ireland chief executive
Duncan Wilson quit, and aviation director Bill McGrorty and overseas purchasing
director Bill Allen announced their departures.
None of the directors, including Harris, was on the
plc board.
