New sales and marketing roles

PANORAMA Holidays and Manos Holidays head of marketing
Owen Whitehead is to become Airtours Holidays’ new head of
marketing.

Starting in December, Whitehead will report to group director of
marketing Tim Marsden alongside Going Places head of marketing
Sarah Bottomley. The roles replace director of marketing Robin
Parry, who was responsible for both areas.

Whitehead has been with the brands for three and a half years,
and previously worked for Cosmos, Unijet and British Airways
Holidays.

Meanwhile, under consultation proposals for the merger of Cresta
Holidays and Bridge Travel, Cresta sales and marketing director
Jane Williams and Bridge managing director Brian Fell are expected
to leave.

Williams’ role will not exist on the merged board under
current plans. She is set to leave in February after 11 years with
Cresta. “I’ve been involved with the restructure from early
on but it’s a good time for me to take a break,” she
said.

It is understood the Bridge MD role will go but Fell is expected
to stay until the end of the year.
