VIRGIN Atlantic has appointed industry outsider Paul Waite to the newly created post of general manager sales.
Based at the airline’s head office in Crawley, Waite takes up his job next month.
Waite’s appointment follows news that head of UK sales Steve Stahlmann is leaving the airline at the end of the month. (Travel Weekly December 6)
Virgin has decided to restructure its key sales role in line with other departments which are all headed up by general managers.
