The resort
Situated on the northeast coast of Punta Cana, Sunscape The Beach Punta Cana lies along one of the finest oceanfronts on this Caribbean island.
Facing a pristine beach, the resort is wrapped around a huge free-form swimming pool (the biggest in the Dominican Republic) that runs from the lobby down to the beach, and is complete with waterfalls and a swim-up bar – making it not only one of our most interesting sites, but also one that’s great fun to explore.
Accommodations
Our luxury accommodations come complete with terrace or balcony, and are furnished with one king-size or two double beds.
Each room features air conditioning, a 27” satellite TV with remote control and a mini-bar that is refreshed daily with soft drinks, bottled water, beer and juice.

Sunscape Resorts & Spas are all about fun, and that’s exactly what we provide from the moment the day begins!
On land, have a go at basketball, bocce-ball, Euro-bungee, volleyball, tennis, horseback riding (additional charge), beach soccer, cycling, archery and much more. Or for a more educational experience, try your hand at Spanish, dancing, cookery, painting and ceramics classes.
Out on the water our activities include catamarans, scuba diving lessons, canoeing, windsurfing, sun fishing, snorkeling, water cycles, and of course the ocean trampoline!
Explorer’s Club for kids
We’ve got something really special for our younger guests (3 – 12 years). Sunscape The Beach Punta Cana’s Explorer’s Club has its own huge playground area, an enclosed zone with a game room, television, kitchenette, little stage, and a unique pirate ship waterslide.
Among the Explorer’s Club’s supervised activities are dino digs, sandcastle competitions, arts & crafts, big-screen movies on the beach, and a weekly campout adventure…

While the kids have a great time at Explorer’s Club, tired parents can rejuvenate at our world-class Spa and Spa Garden.
Our 12 luxury cabins (one with an oceanfront palapa) offer exotic body treatments and therapies based on natural, indigenous ingredients. Try a Vichy shower or hydrotherapy session, or enjoy our sauna, steam rooms, whirlpool, spa showers and ice plunge pool.
Our Spa Boutique also carries prestigious skin care lines like Germaine de Capuccini, Pevonia, OPI, and Davines. Attached to the Spa is a full-service beauty salon offering manicures, pedicures and professional hairdressing.
