TRAVEL technology provider Pegasus Systems is set to expand business worldwide after receiving an endorsement from Galileo International.
Pegasus, which provides a range of e-commerce and transaction services for the hotel industry, was recommended for its Pegasus Commission Processing service.
Each month, PCP collects information from member hotels including how many bookings agents have made for each hotel.
After consolidating the information and commission payments from all of its hotel customers, Pegasus sends a single monthly payment to its agency members.
Over 70 hotel firms use the system, representing more than 24,000 properties. Some 83,000 agencies worldwide already use the service, which is set to increase after this endorsement.
Galileo has added a listing for PCP in its Global Partner Solutions programme, which lists companies and products that it believes will assist agents.
