Martin Froggatt is to move to the US following a promotion.
He will take over as operations vice-president of US tour operator Europe Express, based in Seattle, starting next week.
First Choice bought Europe Express last July.
Froggatt has been First Choice sales director for five years. In 2002, he helped overhaul the group’s portfolio to offer better-defined brands.
First Choice distribution managing director John Wimbleton said: “Martin has helped to shape and develop First Choice’s transformation in a period of significant change and in a complex distribution landscape. He will be greatly missed.”
Details of his successor have yet to be announced.
Froggatt said: “I’m very excited. It’s an important move and proves First Choice is investing worldwide.”
