Community spirit drives 18-30 bookings

Club 18-30’s bookings are up 20% on last year thanks to the youth operator’s online interactive community.

Since the community was launched a year ago more than 36,000 people have joined allowing them to communicate with other holidaymakers before and after their holiday.

Director John Davis directly linked the community to the rise in bookings in 2006.

“We can see a direct correlation between the growing numbers of members and the increase in year on year bookings,” he said. “The loyalty our community has created is driving up repeat bookings.”

The success of the site has secured its provider and content management company Addictive Interactive Executive a further two year deal with the youth operator.

Davis said the operator would use the extended contract with AIE to exploit other forms of technology to continue to communicate with its customers.
