MAJESTIC Travel owner Steven Freudmann has become the first chairman of Advantage.
Vice-chairman Peter Reglar has been replaced by Regent Travel managing director Roderic Thompson.
Advantage claimed Reglar stepped down to concentrate on his Ickenham Travel business.
Freudmann, who is also Institute of Travel and Tourism chairman and takes over Reglar’s position on the Triton board, said: “I was voted in unanimously. The board felt it was time for a change.”
Advantage managing director John McEwan said Freudmann was elected unopposed.
The role of chairman has been created following a change in the consortium’s constitution.
