Travel Counsellors will continue its global expansion next year by moving into Germany – Europe’s biggest outbound tourism market.
The homeworking company’s Dutch general manager Fred van Eijk is overseeing the expansion.
Group chairman David Speakman said the move wouldn’t be officially launched for “a couple of months”.
Initially homeworkers are being sought in northern Germany before the concept is rolled out nationwide, said group managing director Steve Byrne. The group is also in talks to launch the concept in at least one other country, but refused to reveal details.
The company has already expanded into Ireland, where it has 23 homeworkers, Netherlands, and the US, where it has 20 travel counsellors.
