Hoseasons is looking to increase the number of operators it works with further having formed a partnership with ski tour operator Erna Low Travel.
Chief executive Richard Carrick said the new deal means Hoseasons now has a link to its own branded website selling all of Erna Low’s properties and breaks in Europe and the US.
He said the move was made to earn Hoseasons revenues during the winter and he is looking to create similar partnerships with other niche operators selling winter sun and specialist cruises.
He said: “It is a no lose situation; if you can put your good brands together you can share your costs and hopefully promote your programme and their’s.
“We are regarded as one of the UK’s biggest providers of boating holidays but we’re not looking for mass market cruises. We’ll talk to anyone who wants to discuss these partnerships.”
Erna Low Travel managing director Jane Hartley welcomed the deal which will allow the ski operator to also access Hoseasons’ customer database.
She added: “There is a natural synergy between our two organisations.”
