Unilever agrees corporate travel deal with KDS – 17 Jan 2007

Business travel management technology firm KDS has announced a deal to provide its self-booking tool to Unilever in the UK.

The food, home care and hygiene manufacturer began using KDS in 2003 when the company was brought in to help with its travel buying. The initial projects resulted in €1 million saving.

The KDS Corporate self-booking tool also allows Unilever to continue working with its travel management company, Carlson Wagonlit Travel by integrating it into its system.

General facilities manager for corporate centre John Aussems said: “We chose KDS Corporate for its ease of use, flexibility and performance. We were also very impressed by the company’s professional attitude and ability to help us clearly identify and reach our objectives.”
