Meta-search website Travelsupermarket.com is to sponsor this year’s series of Channel 4‘s A Place in the Sun.
 
The seven-figure deal begins on Friday (February 23) and is part of the company’s 2007 £11 million marketing spend, which is aimed at boosting its brand and driving traffic.


A Place in the Sun helps people find a home abroad. Chris Nixon, managing director of travelsupermarket.com, said the deal is “an ideal fit”.


“Viewers of the show have a strong interest in travel and also in getting value for their money,” he said.
