ABTA has cancelled two of its regional meetings next month. They are the Northern Ireland meeting, scheduled for Belfast, on December 8 and the north-east region’s meeting on December 9.

The Millennium Experience has rolled out a range of packages for northern and Scottish-based customers to visit The Dome. Prices lead-in at £29.99 for midweek travel on National Express coaches and include Dome entry. Midland Mainline is offering Dome-inclusive prices on its network from £38 for adults and £25.50 for children.

visitors during 2000
The London Tourist Board has predicted 27m visitors will come to the capital next year. Their spend is estimated at £9bn. Millennium attractions will boost numbers from the 1998 figure of 25.1m. London’s stock of bedspace is 186,000 for 2000.

Classic Connection has launched its first ever Australia and New Zealand brochure. Packages include stopovers in Asia, the South Pacific and the US.
