Gold Medal sales director David Holland is currently “considering other roles” within the company following an internal restructure.
The former Travel 2/4 sales director only joined in October last year with the remit of improving relations with the trade.
Now, as part of an “on-going reorganisation and restructure of the business” managing director Terry Fisher said Holland is considering new roles, while air product director Nigel Fell is leaving.
“The changes are necessary as we strive to become more efficient in the way we operate the business and more focused in the areas we operate,” Fisher said.
Other changes include the promotion of Tim Przybysz to head of product and commercial, while the sales and marketing departments will be combined under the directorship of Ruth Connor.
James Stephenson has been promoted to head of e-commerce, while finance director Steven Bacon has taken on added responsibility of IT. Bev Dumbleton is joining from STA Travel as Head of Call Centre Operations.
In addition, the restructure has resulted in the redeployment of some personnel and key new roles have been created including a head of marketing, a head of sales and head of business development.
