Former Midconsort Elite chief executive Charles Eftichiou has parted company with Harvey World Travel to set up a consultancy for independent agents.
Eftichiou left Midconsort Elite in November to set up upmarket independent consortium Connoisseur for the agency chain.
HWT head of franchise Natalie Turner has been left with the task of recruiting members. Eftichiou’s agency Mosley Travel is Connoisseur’s only member although he conceded this could be reviewed.
Eftichiou is launching a business consultancy firm to offer independent agents support and advice.
He said: “During my time with HWT I have been talking to loads of independents who need much more personalised service.”
