Anheuser Busch unveils plans for new water park in Orlando – 8 Mar 2007

Anheuser Busch have unveiled plans for a new water park to open in March 2008 in Orlando.

SeaWorld’s Aquatica is the first new park since Discovery Cove opened in 2000.

Its top attraction is a ride with underwater slides that travel through a lagoon full of black and white Commerson’s dolphins.

It also offers the world’s first double-wave pool.

The park, adjacent to SeaWorld, will have 36 water rides, six rivers and lagoons, and more than 800,000 sq ft of beach.

It goes on sale this summer and an agents’ fam trip is planned for December this year. Busch Entertainment Corporation UK director of sales and marketing Lisa Goswell said: “We will be doing a lot of trade activity.”
