Ocean Village launched its 2007/08 brochure this month, with expanded itineraries in the Mediterranean next summer and a new cruise out of Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Agents will receive point-of- sale kits including posters of chef James Martin and Ocean Village godmothers Jodie and Jemma Kidd to boost sales.
Ocean Village will make its inaugural journey to Montego Bay in November where it will operate 14-night cruises. Offering two itineraries from the resort, ports of call include Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula and South and Central America.
Next summer the ship will be based in Crete and will sail the eastern Mediterranean, calling at destinations including Cephalonia, Santorini and Mykonos.
For winter 2007, Ocean Village Two will operate out of Barbados, while two new itineraries have been introduced for summer 2008.
The Tapas and Togas cruise calls at Tunis, Rome, Genoa, Monte Carlo and Barcelona, while the Villas and Vino itinerary sails from Palma to Tunis, Naples, Florence/Pisa, St Raphael, and Ajaccio (Corsica).
Prices lead in at £599 per person. Cruise prices for children for summer 2008 start at £99.
Ocean Village is offering up to 45% off some brochure prices and balcony cabin upgrades are available at £239 per person.
Ocean Village head of marketing communications Gill Haynes said: “The new brochure maps a very exciting year ahead, with our original ship moving to Montego Bay and Ocean Village Two sailing to Barbados for the first time, new transatlantic cruises, and confirmation of our 2008 Mediterranean itineraries.”
