A home-based agent from Travel Counsellors is celebrating becoming the first in the company’s history to take more than £10 million in sales.
Melanie Westwell from London hit the landmark after working for Travel Counsellors for 10 years. She said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be the first to reach £10 million.
“The support from head office is fantastic and has enabled me to expand my business from having no client base when I started.”
Westwell began working for Travel Counsellors in telesales after a decade in the industry and switched to focus on her own clients last year.
Travel Counsellors sales director Malcolm Hingley said: “It’s a fantastic achievement. Now we expect more agents to follow in Melanie’s footsteps.”
