Worldchoice has secured a grant from the East of England Development Agency to run a series of management courses across the eastern counties.
It is believed to be the first time a travel agent consortium has secured this type of funding, which will meet 70% of the cost of the programme.
The courses, which are being run in conjunction with accredited training body, the People Development Team, will be classroom based.
The first of the three modules was held last week. The other two modules are due to be held on November 1 and November 8 with 36 places available to agents from Bedfordshire, Essex,
Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Suffolk and Norfolk. The invitation to attend has also been extended to fellow Triton members, Advantage and Global Travel Group.
