Celebrity chef Aldo Zilli took a break from the galley to help open Thomson’s first Cruisedeals shop in Liverpool.
Staffed by cruise specialists, the shop opened last Friday and will provide customers the chance to view cruise Internet sites, DVDs and customer reviews.
The shop has been launched to meet the 32% growth in the UK market in the last five years. The opening of further shops will be dependent on its success.
Thomson marketing manager – customer experience Doug Glenwright said: “The cruise market is growing at such a rapid pace, by bringing our Cruisedeals brand to the high street we can really bring cruising to life for these customers.”
