New commission rates from major tour operators will be revealed at the Hays Travel Independence Group Conference in Tenerife next week.
Also to be announced are enhancements to Travelink, the group’s dynamic packaging technology, and positive figures on cruise sales.
An initiative allowing members to take advantage of Hays cruise marketing material, including brochures, leaflets and e–mail newsletters will be launched.
John Hays said: “Our members have done well this year and these changes will help them continue this success next year.”
To tie in with the theme of travel entrepreneurship, former Thomson boss Miles Morgan, who has now set up Miles Morgan Travel, and John Hays, will talk about their experiences of setting up their own businesses.
A total of 140 people are expected to attend the four-day conference in Costa Adeje starting on Tuesday.
