Thomas Cook UK and Ireland has appointed Stephen Vaughan as the new general manager of Club 18-30.
The former head of sales and distribution for the Thomas Cook independent division replaces Paul Little who will remain with Thomas Cook UK and Ireland, first of all to introduce Vaughan to the role and then to “progress projects within the UK business”.
Vaughan’s first task will be to set up Club 18-30’s new offices in Peterborough where the tour operator is relocating to from its present base in Brighton. He will report to Thomas Cook Holiday Division commercial director Adam Fredman.
He said: “I am delighted to have been appointed into this role, and can’t wait for the opportunity to take the brand forward in 2008. I’m particularly relishing the opportunity of working with all of the Club 18-30 team members, old and new.”
