SPECULATION was rife in the industry this week not only about where the axe will fall next in Greater London House or Waterside but over stories that Going Places supremo Terry Fisher has splashed out on a new car.
But not any old motor. This one’s a Porsche. And a banana yellow one at that. That’s not all though. Reports have reached Backchat that Fisher, who described himself as the most eligible bachelor in Woking after taking over at Going Places, has personalised number plates spelling out his christian name.
One source said: “Terry thought he could woo the women in Woking but he’s been stuck in a barren spell for months. He’s hoping the car will act as a magnet and reverse his fortunes.”
Strangely Fisher clammed up when confronted about the car. His only comment was “no comment”.
Fisher is believed to keep the motor up north after sources said he is reluctant to drive to the multiple’s head office in Surrey.
“The safety of his car could not be guaranteed following the number of enemies he’s made down here,” said the source.
