Lastminute.com has appointed Andy Washington to the newly created position of sales director – travel.
The current Cosmos sales and distribution director will oversee the online travel agent’s business-to-consumer travel business, including flights, hotels, holiday packages and dynamic packaging teams.
While he has handed in his notice at the tour operator, he is yet to confirm when his leaving date. Similarly a start date for the new role has not been confirmed.
He will also look to develop UK sales strategy and improve customer experience and will report directly to UK managing director John Bevan.
