Travel Counsellors is running a series of evening events to share an insight into the secrets of building a successful travel business.
Travel Counsellors founder and chairman David Speakman will be educating participants at four events in Manchester, Birmingham, London and Glasgow about the benefits of running their own business.
“Forget the fact that we are home-based – that’s not the issue,” said Mr Speakman. “The key to any agent’s success is being allowed to do what they are best at – selling.
“If you take all the administration, marketing and back office work off an agent then they can concentrate on building their business. That’s a fact and that’s why our model is innovative, whether you’re working from home or in an office on the high street.”
The events, the first of their kind for the company, will see a number of Travel Counsellors explaining how they have built successful travel businesses with the company.
They will include former owner-managers, who will explain why they decided to carry on running their own businesses as Travel Counsellors franchisees, and the differences between how they operate now and how they ran their businesses previously.
