Luxury hotel brand Hard Rock Hotels has announced a $2billion expansion programme in Europe.
Speaking at theInternational Hotel Investment Forum in Berlin, chief hotels officer Trevor Horwell said the company willfocus on London, Paris, Barcelona and Prague. “Agents are a key business source and we’ll be looking to forge strong partnerships with UK agencies,” said Horwell.
He said the downturn in the economy would not affect hotels with a strong offering.“Lots of people are trying to develop hotel projects, which is difficult in the credit crunch.“
