World-renowned business guru Sir Ken Robinson has been lined up for this year’s Institute of Travel and Tourism conference.
The European speaker of the year will fly in from Los Angeles to give his unique insight into creativity and human resources.
He argues that rethinking human resources is vital to sustainable success in business, education and in our communities.
ITT chairman Steven Freudmann said: “Sir Ken Robinson is a truly inspirational speaker. He has an unrivalled ability to convey powerful messages with extraordinary warmth, passion and wit.
“Most people accept that the planet is in a climate crisis and that misuse of natural resources by the industrial economies is at the heart of it. Sir Ken argues that industrialism has produced another less understood catastrophe.
“This is a disaster in the use of human resources and its consequences are just as serious. He’ll tell us what the crisis is and what individuals, organisations and governments can do about it.”
Sir Ken has advised international governments, Global 500 companies, not-for-profit corporations and some of the world’s leading cultural organisations. He is a former senior adviser to the J Paul Getty Trust in Los Angeles.
XL Leisure Group chief executive Peter Owen, Kuoni managing director Nick Hughes and Stella Travel Services chief executive Keith Stanley have all been named as speakers for the event at Aphrodite Hills Resort in Cyprus on June 9-11.
