Cox and Kings is launching its first ever short breaks programme in Antalya thanks to the opening of a new British Airways route.
Product manager for Europe Aaron Jennings said the new programme in the resort on the south west coast of Turkey had been introduced following BA’s decision to launch the service from Gatwick to Antalya, which started on April 1.
He added it will complement the Turkish product the operator already offers, including a short break in Istanbul and an eight-day tour of classical archaeological sites on the country’s west coast.
He added: “Turkey as a whole has got appeal, it is adventurous as a destination and it has got a lot of history and culture, and there’s some fantastic upmarket boutique properties as well.”
The operator is initially featuring the Alp Pasa Hotel as the sole property in Antalya with prices leading in at £525 per person for bed and breakfast accommodation, including flights and private transfers.
If the programme proves popular a second property will be added.
