Accommodation only provider getabed.co.uk has expanded its product range and launched a drive to increase sales through the trade.
The company, first established in 1991 as Key Resorts, rebranded five years ago and specialisises in long haul and city breaks.
Last week, the site went live with an increased product range in Portugal, the Canary Islands, the Balearics, Dubai and Egypt. Some new destinations will be added in the coming months.
A ‘director’s choice’ group of hotels which offer particularly good value will also be introduced.
The bedbank has increased its sales team to four people who are visiting registered agents across the UK to encourage them to use the service.
Sales and marketing director Andy Winstanley said the bed bank competes on customer services rather than rock bottom prices.
“Good value and customer relationships are becoming more important and we work very hard on that,” he said.
