A seasonal Icelandair service to Vancouver is to operate year-round from the winter.
The airline started serving the western Canadian city from Iceland in 2014 and is expanding the schedule due to increased demand.
The airline flies twice a week from Keflavik using a three-class Boeing 757 on Thursdays and Saturdays, with connections from seven UK airports.
Icelandair chief executive, Birkir Holm Gudnason, said: “The flight to Vancouver has been favourable and we see opportunities to improve our transatlantic network with all the connections from Europe.”
