Thomas Cook has extended its shirt sponsorship agreement with Manchester City Football Club.
The deal marks the sixth consecutive season the operator has sponsored the club which came ninth in the Premiership in the 2007/08 season.
The deal also sees operatorretain its position as the football club’s official overseas travel supplier for both players and the fans.
Thomas Cook chief executive Manny Fontenla-Novoa said: “We are delighted to continue our relationship with Manchester City as it builds on our position as one of the UK’s best known brands.
“This sponsorship agreement is a key part of our marketing strategy and, testament to the success of our partnership has been the establishment of Thomas Cook Sport as one of the leading sports tour operators within the UK.
“We know that travel and sport are so important to the nation and we are delighted to be in a position to meet the leisure needs of our current and future customers.”
Manchester City club executive chairman Garry Cook added: “Thomas Cook has been a loyal and valued partner over the past five years.
“It is fitting that we are extending our agreement at a time when European travel is very much back on the agenda for the Club and our supporters.
“Both Manchester City and Thomas Cook share similar values in the UK and we are very pleased to continue our association with them.”
The new strip will be launched on 19 July, and will see its first game against AC Milan on 9 August.
