Advantage Travel Centres announce board changes

Advantage Travel Centres has revealed changes to its board after the consortium’s annual general meeting held at its London offices last Wednesday.


Willie Stewart of Stewart Travel, Jackie Steadman of Traveltime World and Tim Brookes-Parry of Apex Travel have been elected onto the board and replace Steven Freudmann of Majestic Travel, Bryony Hordern from Tickets Anywhere and Steve Campion of the Holiday Discount Centre who retire this year.


Roderick Thompson from  Regent Travel has been elected as chairman of the board and Willie Stewart is deputy chair.


Existing board directors Phil Cornelius, Ryedale Travel, Doreen Duncan of Travel Alliance and Nick Marks of Baldwins Travel will remain.


“Once again we have a strong and experienced group of board members who will take Advantage forward over the next two years,” said Advantage Travel Centres chief executive John McEwan.
