A new Heathrow Terminal 3 arrivals lounge has opened.
The decision to open a new lounge landside comes follows market research and monitoring of the terminal, which handles passengers from more than 110 long-haul flights a day.
The lounge has seats for 28 people and provides satellite television channels and unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi.
The Plaza Premium Lounge also includes 11 shower rooms.
The company already runs lounges at Terminals 2 and 4 departures and arrivals areas.
Regional general manager, Pauline Cheung, said: “Our arrivals lounges are designed to bring comfort, convenience and value to passengers.
“Having arrivals lounges benefits passengers and those who are waiting in the terminal, which enables us to further enhance the experience of travelling for all.”
Heathrow head of property John Arbuckle said: “We are thrilled to welcome Plaza Premium to Terminal 3 and offer our arriving passengers a quiet space to fully refresh; a service which has proved really popular in Terminal’s 2 and 4.”
