Attraction World’s sales director has completed a skydive for the company’s chosen charity Whizz-Kids.
Nick Hughes completed the 10,000 feet jump on Tuesday July 25 as part of a pledge to raise £5,000 for the children’s charity.
The jump was previously planned to take place in June but had been cancelled twice due to bad weather.
Hughes said: “I arrived at 9am and didn’t jump until 3pm so it was a six hour wait.
“It was a relief to finally jump especially after it had been cancelled twice and you just build yourself up in those situations.
“I was mainly thinking about all the people who donated and doing it for them.
“It is such a fantastic charity to support.”
So far the company has raised £2,166 and will hold more events to reach the final target by the end of the year.
Attraction World’s national account manager, Tracey Bartlem, will run the Great South Run in October.
Whizz-Kids provides disabled children and young people with vital mobility equipment, plus opportunities to meet and spend time having fun together.
If the £5,000 target is reached, five disabled children will be provided with an adapted bike or trike.
