CV Villas has appointed current general manager Tristan Symondson as its new managing director.
Symondson reports to Francis Torrilla, overall managing director for DER Touristik UK’S specialist division.
Tristan joined CV Villas in 2008 and became head of product in 2015. Earlier this year he was promoted to general manager.
In his new capacity as managing director, Symondson takes over responsibility for the 25-plus UK based staff in CV Villas’ head office as well as the overseas based staff, who manage the day to day operation of CV’s 800 villas in Europe, the Caribbean and North Africa.
Symondson said: “I am very much looking forward to taking CV Villas forward to secure and expand our position as one of the UK’s leading luxury villa holiday companies.”
Torrilla said: “This is a great opportunity for Tristan and one that I am confident he will excel at. He knows the business extremely well and, having worked closely with him over the past few years, I know he’s got the drive to develop and grow the brand.”
The appointment takes place with immediate effect.
