Independent travel agent ItsSo Travel has won a place in the top 100 small businesses in the country.
ItsSo Travel, which is based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, will be profiled as part of a nationwide campaign to promote small and independent businesses in the UK.
The campaign, Small Business Saturday, which takes place on December 2, was set up to support small scale businesses – both on the high street and online.
Those behind Small Business Saturday felt Black Friday and Cyber Monday benefitted large multinational companies more and disadvantaged independent businesses.
Cherie Richards, The Global Travel Group’s commercial director, said: “The success of ItsSo Travel will continue to highlight the contribution independent travel agents make to our industry and to the local and wider economy.”
ItsSo Travel is a member of The Group Travel Group alongside more than 350 other travel agents.
The agency will host a USA themed day on December 2, promoting the full range of USA holidays available and making customers aware of what America has to offer as a destination.
