Flybe has appointed Air Seychelles chief executive Roy Kinnear as chief commercial officer.
Kinnear will begin his role at the regional airline in January and will become a member of its Executive Committee, reporting directly to chief executive Christine Ourmières-Widener.
Kinnear will be responsible for heading up the airline’s commercial activities with its revenue management, network, scheduling, ancillary, sales, marketing, e-commerce, customer care and loyalty teams all reporting to him.
He has more than 30 years’ experience in the travel industry, including senior management roles at bmi, Gulf Air and Etihad.
Flybe’s chief revenue officer Vincent Hodder has moved to the position of chief strategy officer as part of the changes at Flybe. Hodder will be charged with looking for new strategic opportunities to drive profit growth.
Ronnie Matheson Flybe’s director of revenue management and distribution, will take up the role of interim chief commercial officer until Kinnear starts.
